Liturgical Schedule

The liturgical schedule for the month of August 2026 will be as follows:

On Wednesday and Friday mornings, the Divine Liturgy will begin at 9:30 am;

On Wednesday and Friday afternoons, the Akathist to the Dormition of the Mother of God will be served beginning at 3:00 pm;

Those who wish to go to confession are welcome on Wednesday or Friday mornings beginning at 9:00 am, or on Sunday mornings beginning at 8:45 am;

All parishioners are encouraged, during the Dormition Fast, to pray to the Mother of God, either by reading the Paraklesis or the Akathist to her Dormition;

On Sundays, the Divine Liturgy will begin at 10:30 am and will be preceded by Matins beginning at 9:45 am;

On feast days, the Divine Liturgy will begin at 10:00 am and will be preceded by Matins beginning at 9:30 am.
The feast days of this month are:

August 6: The Transfiguration of Our Lord;
-
August 15: The Dormition of the Mother of God;
-
August 29: The Beheading of the Holy Prophet, Forerunner, and Baptist John.
